Interior Design Consultations

Help with: Wall Coverings, Draperies and Window Treatments, Furniture Shopping & Arrangement, Custom Interior Painting, Kitchen & Bath Design and Remodeling, Advice & Consulting, Space Planning, Accessories, Lighting, Fabric Selections, and more. Our base fee is $75.00 hourly.

New! "AXCESS" To Design Program

Get access to home furnishings and accessories at a bargain. Axcess provides you with a custom list of vendors you can order through via us, at huge discounts! We do a consultation to determine your needs, and then provide you with a detailed overview of items to improve your space. Axcess gives you links to websites and vendors. This program is billed in 4 hour time increments. The minimum consultation fee is $275.00 and includes 4 HOURS (discounted to $68.75 hourly from $75), so for example, 8 HOURS WILL BE BILLED AT $550.00, instead of the normal $600.00. You can then purchase furniture and accessories for a steal! Whatever our final price is, including shipping, taxes, etc., you pay only 10% OVER. We can shop together at market, allowing you to see the current furnishings first hand, AND/OR PURCHASE THEN & THERE, VIA CATALOGS, or on the INTERNET. Payment is made at the time of the consult.

Paint Consultations and/or Custom Painting
 

Want to paint rooms in your home? Do the rooms connect? Having trouble selecting colors? We can help! Tones, shades, and overall color choices can leave your mind confused. We have a paint library with thousands of paint companies’ colors. Our base fee is $250.00 for 4 hours. We offer paint boards so you can see the colors in a larger setting. Paint boards are $20.00 each, and include paint. We also provide painting services. If you do not have your own painter, you can use ours. Paint contractors welcome.

CABINETS, CUSTOM & READY MADE

We design Kitchens! If you are in need of a design only and/or already have a source for cabinets, we will design your space for a flat fee of $250.00. Includes one or two revisions.

We use the 20/20 design system. Custom, Semi-custom & Stock Cabinets. When a stock cabinet will not work, Come see us & When a stock cabinet will work, come see us!!

KITCHEN REMODELING

$75.00 Appointment fee.

$250.00 Kitchen Design Fee includes floor plan, detailed drawing, ideas & suggestions.

If a Bath design is needed along with a kitchen design, the bath design drops down to $75.00.

Kitchen remodel bids can include removal of existing cabinetry, Cabinet selection, installation of cabinetry, appliances and other products, delivery of materials, in-home inspection, final adjustment of new cabinetry, clean up, Installation of Laminate, Man made Stone, Granite, or Solid Surfacing Countertops, template to ensure a proper fit, cutouts, holes for faucet, clean up, haul away of debris, final walk through with customer and final adjustment.

$75.00 Appointment fee is credited back to sold job.

BATHROOM REMODELING

$75.00 Appointment fee

$125.00 Bathroom Design Fee includes floor plan, detailed drawing, ideas & suggestions.

If a kitchen design is needed along with a bath design, the bath design drops down to $75.00.

Bathroom remodel bids can include in-home consultation, Cabinet selection, installation of bath cabinetry and other products, Installation of Laminate, Man made Stone, Cultured Marble, Granite, or Solid Surfacing Countertops, template to ensure a proper fit, cutouts, holes for faucet, delivery of materials, in-home inspection, installation around shower and tub walls, installation of wonder board, grouting all joints, removal and haul away of old materials, clean up, final walk through with customer, and final adjustment.

$75.00 Appointment fee is credited back to sold job.

Window Treatments

Drapery is one of our specialties. Bids include in-home consultation, product color, style and fabric choices, measuring, designing, fabricating of product, clean up, final walk through. Window Treatment Consultations have a $35.00 Appointment Fee, which is credited back to all sold jobs.

SHOPPING

$75.00 per hour. 2 hour minimum.

Think of Design Effects as your assistant in the Interior Decorating World. Concierge Shopping Service. Your personal Shopping Assistant. Need a whole house of Furnishings? This is a great deal for large projects. We provide you the itinerary for the best shopping. You will not pay retail, using our “AXCESS TO DESIGN PROGRAM”. Email us for more Information.
